Does anyone have feedback on the Gravity "GT" wheels versus the original "6 spoke" wheels? I'm mostly interested in durability, but there may be other differences, too.

The "GT" wheel or the split 8 spoke is a harder wheel than the original wheel. The GT wheel is also more durable. The original wheel was lighter in weight than the GT wheel. I hope this helps

Haven't really seen but one or two of these. It's a great looking body. Too bad the are out of production.

Kept this one simple and a little Gulf inspired.

I was thinking they were discontinued too. But, HPI says they are available. I saw one at my LHS at Christmas.

I ran the new McAllister "Hot Rod GT" body at Summit RC Raceway last weekend for their event. I know its not for everyone, but I sure liked the way it looked on the track.

I may have as well. I thought there was a "spirit" to this class? Anyone seen that kind of car racing in ANY GT series?

Dont worry there will be a change to the USGT rules to clear this up and prevent things such as this from being raced in races under the USGT name.

Default gravity rc usgt tires

Does anyone know if the tire are directional tires? I was told the the thread pattern on the tire should be like a arrow along the groove and point fwd. So if you look at the sidewall of each tire 1 set will have cr-02 and the outside which will be the right side wheels and the other set will have cr-02 on the inside which is the left tires. So is it truth to this?

Unfortunately, yes there is.
The Morgan Aero GT was semi successfully in competition a few years back.

Who is it hurting to allow this to run in USGT? I think it's cool. The rule as written is fine. I'd rather see this car than the Prototype and Supercar bodies that aren't in the spirit of USGT, IMHO.

Geez guys. If I had feelings, they'd be hurt.

Like I said in my original post, its not everyone's choice, but the Morgan's are pretty well known. I was going to do the Dewalt scheme. But, I didn't have the right masks. I assume that was Gary McAllister's goal when he designed this car was to go for the English/Morgan look.
