JCarr has seen me drive, he ran over me a few time with his bug. I need more practice before I drive up there. I had to replace some of the boards he talked about!

Has anyone run a FWD car succesfully in USGT? I have a Tam FF02 that I would like to get some use but am afraid it wont be competitive with the 4wd cars on the track.

Not sure if the USGT racers have seen our new Corvette Daytona Prototype body......
McAllister Racing |
nice...but for me its real borderline...between GT and 12th scale...imo

I like the body, but it is not a GT body, it's a prototype. I have wondered when those would start to pop up in here though.

Has anybody been running FF with 4wd? . If so, would getting the weight down be helpful? I have an FF car, but i have not raced it in USGT yet |

yeah that car is cool, but doesn't really seem like a GT car. The pics of GT cars with lights are awesome. Would be cool to see them all race that way. |
I run lights in all my USGT cars and now in my VTA too

I have been looking at the FF cars, and after checking the weight, an FF03 with the stock plastic chassis was like 1320g. I think the FF weight should be lowered to a. improve competitiveness and b. require a little less lead. A graphite plastic or plate graphite car is going to be even lighter.
