And when does the season start??:D:D:D

The year long season runs from August 1st to July 31st. We are coming down to the final month and a half and the standings are tight in USGT.

FYI...when you sign up you sign up for that year...so if you sign up now it will only be from now until July 31st. You would need to sign up for the following year after Aug 1st.

Congrats to Chris Vogan who moved to the top of the USGT national points chase. Chris is a regular at The Gate and has proven to be one of the guys to beat in a very competitive USGT class.

Whats also awesome is that the top 4 are separated by 8 points but only 2 of them have raced each other once that I can tell. They are spread out from PA or OH, IN, IL and GA. Its cool to see people from all over the country be able to battle it out....we have guys from CA, IN, IL, WI, GA, OH and PA in the top ten. With some good results in the last few weeks anyone can take the lead....:tire::tire::tire::tire:

The Summer Slam could decide it all.

It very well could....wish I could make it but a lack of vacation time will keep me out.

That's too bad Kevin. You're going to miss a great race. I heard Tommy Kramer Jr. might even be there.

I ran the McAllister Hotrod Gt today. I previous ran the Camaro ZL-1. I was very impressed with the hotrod gt. Lots of steering(I mean a lot). Made a few adjustments and took Tq and win. I only wish I would have had a little bigger rear wing. Rear was a little loose in the high speed sweeper.

I give the body two thumbs up. Everyone loved the gangster looks. The straight away speed was sick.

Thanks McAllister for making something different and somehow making it run as good as it looks.

I've got one on order at my LHS as well. Love the way it looks! Nice job Gary!

Reminds me of the P.T. Barnum quote, "Give people what they want, before they know what they want." Something like that.

I didn't get any pics. I cut the body out and painted it at the track. I'll check and see if any of the local racers grab any pics.

Indy- I have to say, I've never been compared to Barnum and Baily before, but I'll take any compliment....LOL

Can't wait to see interpretations of paint schemes on the Hot Rod GT.

Are there any battery restrictions, besides hard case and 2S? MAH limit like VTA?

None. but check the USVTA website just in case they have made a change in the last few weeks.
