2011 USVTA SOUTHERN NATIONALS IN MUSIC CITY,USA
hey guys, Ive got a question.....
should the "big" 12th scale GT style bodies be allowed in USGT?... I was thinking more the lines of road/race type bodies with front and rear bumpers and lights...not leds, like I run but a place for them...something you might see on the street type bodies let me know what you think? |
Not reallya GT class car... much more LMP. I would say no to those cars, for various reasons, but that's just me. I wouldn't want to be running an M3 body with someone else using the high downforce LMP bodies in the same class.

Those LMP bodies is what WGT should have been... but that's obviously a 500 page thread unto itself.
Would be nice to see a class built around LMP, Daytona Prototype or Group C bodies. |

2nd that !! GT should remain GT. Start making concessions to the rules and you know what happens.

I will only support the USLMP if the minimum race lenth is 3 hours with green flag battery and tire changes, lol Im pushing to get USGT going here at the Big Rug in indy for next season. I had a blast running it at the last asphalt attack race and think it is a great class with potential to be as big or bigger than VTA in time |
