I must say these tires need soft wheels . which is why I'm glad I used the Jaco wheels.
These were the ticket at the cleavland champs.
17.5 tc hot laps were in the 7.9s
My Usgt car was 8.4 hot lap with them , the xpatterns were 8.6 and ride tires with hard wheels were also 8.6

You building a USGT car? Who's driving it?

We will all now be watching for Dasmopar to throw down with a USGT car! Please inform the masses on when you will make your debut.

Snowy.

very nice. any other colors planned? or just white?

Not to many colored wheels out there, Tamiya, SpeedMind maybe ?

You can always dye white wheels just about any color with RIT dyes.

Well... maybe... sorta...

Depending on the type of plastic you can. I dye all my wheels yellow to match my paint jobs. The HPI wheels take the dye pretty well.

Tamiya wheels do not. Not at all.

true, not all wheels are made with nylon, I think Tamiya uses ABS on a lot of wheels.

ok I figured I'd ask :)

I have some green, pink and yellow 24mm ones around - need to dig into my collection of pre-spec, pre-build TC tires and see what I have that weren't mounted and not dish :)

I'd like to see some wheels with a combination of paint and chrome plating. For example, HPI will chrome the rim lip while the wheel center is painted in a variety of colors. I really like those kinds of finishes and they definitely add an element of realism over many single color wheels.

EDIT

Sorry, just noticed those are discontinued. They do have others on their site though.

I have those exact wheels; you can still get them from ebay or even rcmart still has decent stock of Tamiya's discontinued parts.

If you look on Tamiya's site they have a few different colors and styles, but most are discontinued. Speedtech has some on their site as well or like nrtv20 said, ebay or some overseas shops.

I would just like some black wheel options.
