Default Motor suggestions for GT class.

Our track is starting a new class, it will be older 4wd sedans, 6 cell stick pack, treaded tires, and a spec brushed motor. Has anyone had good success with any brushed motor with a sealed endbell that won't get too hot after 6 minutes of racing? Looking for suggestions. We tried the traxxas 20t stinger motor and felt it got too hot.
Larry.

Try the J540 silver cans. And if they're getting hot after 6 minuts of hard racing, then you have them over geared.

Slap on one of them big porcupine heat sinks.

How about them $18-$20 19T Venom Fireball motors?

Thanks for the replies!
Are there any 27t motors with built in fans like the titan 550 from the slash?
Larry.

You can try a black Tamiya 540 Sport Tuned motor. These have a lot more power compared to regular 540 silver can motors.
