Mid-Motored TC3?

After seeing the interest in the shaft driven, mid-motored prototype from Japan in the past month, I thought it might be cool to come up with a conversion kit for the all too familiar TC3 platform. Saddle pack battery configuration. Same weight as the Factory. Same Front/Rear weight distribution. Same CG height. The main thing that changes is the Left/Right balance. The factory kit is quite good with the Center of Gravity ending up less than an 1/8" to the left, even without moving the batteries in. This design (how about TC3M, for short?) places the Left/Right balance dead center, with a slight right hand bias for super light electronics.
I do admit there are several compromises with the design. The most obvious being room for mounting electronics. But I wonder what you guys think of the concept in general. If offered in kit form, it would be somewhat more expensive than the other chassis conversions out there since it would require a few additional parts (new center shaft, one additional front input shaft, two smaller driveshafts, etc.). But I think the concept is pretty cool.
Any thoughts?

Thanks to Ariel (True RC Racing) and Geoff (R/C Anonymous) for not only hosting the images, but providing real world driver input into the design. He can credit others who have also contributed to the concept.

Yes, I do what to point out that credit (blame)
can be shared with both Ariel (TrueRC) and R/C Anonymous. We bounced ideas off of each other while putting together the concept.
