but of course, guys over here won't dig the silver can rule, and will want some crazy-assed BL motor ruling...i'll give that the BL will probably hold up better over 24 hours, but still....

motors die in real racing, they should here too I like the idea of building a cheap kit onsite before the race, I don't think there are many that want to put their cars through 24 hours of punishment.

i agree...get someone to score a deal on the tt01's - they are strong and cheap...limit the motors to a certain brand 21.5

i don't like the building the kit on-site idea - just limit the chassis to box stock except bearings, motor heatsink/fan and maybe shocks

We'd be honored to have you out here. Do the Cannonball thing with a team of co-pilots!

if u search 24hr races on youtube there was another event in europe (not sure which country) where they did have racebread TCs with some trick bits (and since it was from 2008, tons of NIMH!).

honestly how many 007, 008, 415, cyclone, tc4, rdx, mi3s sit and wonder what they did wrong to not have any fun. even saw where 1 of the cars was a f103gt which i think is a killer option for an enduro racer.

I think the way this race was setup is the way to go
Fresh TT01s
Build on site
Silver Can motors
Solaris Tires

Should equal about $500 per team

LMK when and where

down our way i proposed the idea of an enduro that pairs a 'gt1' driver with a 'gt2' driver. they drive in 1-2hr solo events towards their own individual championship and totalled together for an overall winner. all in an effort to the whole team picking fiasco that occurs. but the build thing is neat in its own right. but me, i'm a sucker for runnin the car 24hrs. i'm just bout nuts enuff to go do it on my own just to see if its possible.

Anyone with an interest in participating in an enduro race like this at the Jackson R/C facility in NJ, please shoot me a PM at your earliest convenience. Some of you already have a PM from me!

If you haven't seen or heard of Jackson R/C, check it out here www.jacksonrcracing.com.

Honestly, the organizing of team mates with specific build jobs, painting etc and doing it together to beat the other teams/the clock to get out on track faster is a big part of the fun.

I don't see that in the least bit not knocking your opinion - just can't see loosing 2 -3 hours of track time as fun...I get the team buiding idea - but there's already enough that has to be organized to successfully pull off a r/c enduro, like battery changine, driver line up, planning out pitstops, etc....

i'd personally just rather get all the building done ahead of time, so that way a 'friday' can be dial car into track and 'saturday' can be quick qualifier, then go-go-go
