is this a esc meant for planes? If so, it does not have brakes to start of with.

Me and a couple of friends was/is running the 6.5T version and they are running really well! Too much power for us though.

Very smooth and exponential like throttlecurve and a really good feature is that you can internaly limit the power in 10% intervals wich seems to give a mouch better feel than limiting from the transmitter. My friends are running them at 70% power and it is plenty for 2WD buggy.

The only drawback we have found is that the Lipo cutoff doesn't seem to work.
Even set to its highest setting of 3.4v/cell it seams to run the battery way down.

The esc you reffering to is most likely the Feigoa 100amp unit that was also sold by SP but not for long.

I'm running that HK 5200 system in my 4WD SCT. I've won every single race I've entered it in:

+ YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

It's a good system, and the ESC is compatible with all sensorless motors, as well as Novak, LRP and Orion motors. So once you get it, the possibilities are endless.

it would be cheaper, and just as good, to buy this esc:

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8993

and one of the KD36 motors, such as this:

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=6673

and, of course, the programming card

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=9550

Combo is $100...

separate items, meaning you can select the most suitable motor, will cost $75

If you have a problem with hobbywing products drop me an email or a pm ok.

For the united states the warranty has been upgraded to 1 year warranty on factory defects the rest of the world is still 240 days .

we will have a turn around time of about 4 weeks max for repairs or replacements once it is returned to factory .postage will be the end users responsability

That system is made by ZTW shenzhen china .max motor turn you can run is 5.5T and battery must be atleast over 25c for it to function properly or you will have start stop issues i know as i have tested this unit 1 year ago .
