As far as the race goes, Volker will be hard to beat in TC. 1/12 seems pretty wide open.
Ouch!

LMK what you need. I'm local to the airport and headed your way in the AM. I'm sure I at least owe Bob breakfast after harassing him in Vegas. PM if you like. No fresh drawers on a flight to the UK can't be good for racing.

Paul Lemieux
Josh Cyrul

These are the only US representatives racing right?

12th
at the present, team yokomo and associated would shows take the advantage.
but this world permit only tc2 additive for 12th otherwise so far. in addition, team yokomo have never win the world on carpet. their large quantity of tires and sufficient experience for paved are useless for 2010 worlds.
for these reason, euro drivers, for example, hupo, levanen, may have lead.

today photo (the last day they'll be able to practice in japan, they'll set off tomorrow morning to Burgdorf Germany.

r12

naoto (current 12th wc)

hayato (former 4WD? offroad wc)

speedmerchant rev6 japanese team

naoki(2009 jmrca nationals a finalist)

hiroyuki(team kyosyo customer service representative?)

just like fifa football game 2010, it is difficult for forecasting.
a rush of excitement may go through the world at the surprising result. what i can all say is the driver who wins this race shows above terms, I who enhance
the concentration and the organizing ability for the race, and who would affiliate in the team.

i desperately want exciting world championship.
I think Naoto is onto something with the new front end. I can't tell but it looks like he is probably using the traditional front spring setup but using the damper to smooth things out. Seems like it would be a more consistent cleaner solution to putting goo on the kingpins every 4 runs...

Trinity had the Magic Carpet Ride in the 90's with a similar front end.

Hmm, doesn't look like it... can't see any springs under the outer kingpin. Biggest diff I can see over the show car from the other week, no spring on the centre shock (too stiff in bump with it maybe?), and new damper coating (Teflon?).

Naoto's car appears to have both upper and lower arms on a pivot, using a torsion bar as front spring instead of a traditional spring, and the shock in the middle appears to be used for dampening. When was the last time anyone didnt run a fixed lower arm in 12th?

You nailed it. Both arms pivot and the "sway bar" is actually a torsion bar.

I remember seeing Doseck with a dual arm set-up like that many years ago.

Pay attention to Cyrul from the US. He just went from 18th to 8th. When he figures out that huuuuuuuuuuuuge European track he will be right there in the mix.

13 second laps aren't that long....

Think the times you were looking at were best 3 consectutive laps combined.

I see what your saying but 13 second laps with 3.5 modified motors is a pretty darn big track. Much larger then what we run on in the US.

It's the same for everyone though.

Very similar to the short lived Delta mono shock front end used in the 80's, Associated had a similar set up as well.
