Marc's car looks like a standard 416X with some of the fancy bits (fluorine ball studs, titanium tie rods) added. He also appears to be running the LiPo chassis / top deck that's supposed to be released this month. Springs look like HB, which is typical for the TRF team outside. The motor mount is shimmed up 1mm from the chassis, which means there's probably 1mm shims under the ends of the top deck. We saw this same setup in the pics from Reedy. The speculation is that this keeps the motor from dragging. It's not clear if the gear diff is a Spec-R or something else.

F/F is flat. F/R is flipped (belt clearance) with a 3mm shim underneath which makes the hinge pins parallel to the chassis. There are 2pc mounts available that eliminate the need for flipped blocks, but the TRF team seems to avoid them.

Light blue Sharpie. It's a little more apparent here.

Marc's car definitely had the Atomic Spec-R gear diff installed.

No, he said front inner, and that's how it is done normally.

Either way, Spec R are rubbing their hands together at the moment! This is the best advertisement yet of a gear diff. I still like the satisfaction of rebuilding a balldiff and getting it silky smooth
