Default CC Blower on Novak Ballistic?

Hey guys. I'm running a Novak Ballistic and LRP TC Spec in my FT Tc4. I'm looking to get more performance (top end). I have two fans on it on my own rig. I can't just zip tie them. One of the fans is a new Novak clear fan. The other one is a Muchmore Racing fan that has about two of the little fan piece things missing. The Muchmore fan still puts out more air than the Novak, and the Novak is new. I'm geared as high as i want to go. I get about 170 degrees on a 6 minute run. I can't gear any higher. I was thinking about getting one of those CC Blowers. They look like they put out more air, will be a better rig than what i have going, and will eliminate the need for two fans and cut down on the power going to the fans. Also looks like the teeth of the fan won't get broken as easy. Looks good all the way around. From the description though, it says - "intended for use with Neu-Castle 15 series motors, as well as motors that have outside diameters between 1 1/2" and 1 7/8". " I found that the outside diameter of the Ballistic is 2.07" x 1.41". That means it won't work, right?? Or would it stretch a little? Or is there another solution that will lower my temps so i can gear up?
By the way, mods, you can move this thread to the rookie section if you think thats where it belongs.
Thanks
Dan

Fully advancing the timing on your motor will give you more top end but check your temp often but you better off getting another speedcontrol if your running stock 17.5 or 13.5 if you want to be competitive.

I think its all the way up. So is the timing on the speedo. I would love a new ESC, just don't have the money right now. Trying to make small improvements as well as practice and improve my skill. I'm running 17.5 novice. Do you have any idea about the CC Blower though??

It will make the motor more efficient due to the motor will run cooler but it will not make it fast...

well if you are still running novice why worry about speed? you should learn to get around the track first . but that is my opinion

What about your car setup? What track size do you have? If it's a small track, forget about top speed and work on making the car faster through corners. It will give you far better lap times than a few 10th's on one piece of small straight

Its got a long strait, and i'm loosing time there. Theres also some very technical sections, but i'm doing ok there. I can get around the track OK. I haven't practiced too much on the new layout, but my lines are getting better. But does anyway, does that info mean the 'blower' won't even fit??

stock 17.5 is slowing down, you cant gear the lrp TC spec to be as fast as a tekin,SP/HW, as they have more timing in the esc

My ESC is all the way advanced. Its on 8 of 8. Keep in mind, its a TC4 I'm running; it has a really big internal drive.
