There is no newer car yet! they will be looking at developing parts etc that may well end up as part of the next design.

That won't be out for months anyway.

Buy a Yokomo, they've run the same car for years.

Yokomo is nice but no local parts support.

This happens every year for the last 10+ years, there is no reason to be surprised.

Apart from top/bottom decks, I can't see much different to a normal T3 here.

perhaps it'll be better. look at the 007, all those 'features' and the thing by in large was a dud. then the 008 came out and every1 was happy again. the t3 was a step backwards so perhaps the new car is the upswing again. newer isnt always better...ask any fella who deals with cameras how things work from yr to yr. and trust me they have to digest new product EVERY year.

Paul Lemieux's bottom deck is one he made by himself - that isn't an Xray part!
You can clearly see it on the carbon.

I disagree with the T3 being a step backwards. It had some issues at first but from the results so far at the worlds I dont think Xray has had but one or two guys in the A main before and this year there are 2 with good solid chances thus far. Even when Jilies ran the car and others they struggled on asphalt at the WC.

That's funny, because I remember my 007 being one of the better cars I have had. The T3 is not a "bad" car, but it took awhile for it to work for some drivers. Some drivers laid down good laps with it instantly. It is one of those things.

In the last round of qualifying in Germany Alexander Hagberg won the round and recorded the only 25 lapper. With a totally std T3. Im aware the team have been trying a few small parts but the whole team have gone back to std T3 apart from Paul who is running his own chassis plate
