actually the post was over 2 years and i am now using schuurspeed motor for 17.5 stock class fd is around 3.8

I don't disagree with him/her. I know he is a male but I was told today not to be a sexist when I said women suck at driving today. So just to be fair LOL

In my case i'm using 4.02 FDR (72/34) on TeamMagic E4rs II EVO, with 40 timing on my SkyRC Ares Pro, the motor aren't hot but i feel a little slower on a final speed, another drivers are using below 4 FDR, i think i'll have to test 3.9 FDR (72/35).
Another tips, is the full timing on your motor reduce the brakes, then need to put a higher brake percent on you ESC.
