I need EVERYBODY'S help!!!

I'm prepping a car (Tamiya F104) and need high quality machined titanium screws. The only 2 company's that I know of that make these are Titanium Racing and Lunsford. Titanium Racing had the right items but I never got them trough and Lunsford don't make them. I've asked Lunsford if they would consider making these and this is what I got answered:

Hi Muhannad,

Thank you for your email. At this time, we will not be adding the M3x35mm or the M4x30mm flat head screws to our inventory. Perhaps if we get more requests we will reconsider.

Best regards,
Barb Lunsford

So to everyone: Start sending the inquiry's!

Thanx!

Is titanium racing back in business?

Like I said: Machined! Not the low quality stamped ones like Tamiya or everybody else sells. ;)

Why? Most F1s are light enough, in fact most folks at my club add weight.

I've never had problems with Tamiya Ti screws. I never knew they were poor quality.

Being "machined" doesn't automatically make them better. "Stamped" threads are less likely to have errors in pitch over a machined screw.

That being said "stamped" screws are actually rolled onto the stock using a forming process that makes for tougher screw over all, as no material is actually removed from the blank. The actual hex is broached into the head of the screw regardless of how the body of the screw was formed. So there is no quality difference there either.
