Default Vintage TC5R Carpet Setup

Just started racing the Vintage class with a TC5R. Having trouble getting the rear end to stay hooked up. Every time I get out of the throttle the car breaks loose and spins around as I get back into the throttle.

Would appreciate any set ups or help of any kind.
Thanks

I run the box stock TC5r setup, and have had great success with it for the past 2 years

Are you using brakes ?

What is your drag brake setting ?

Above are two ways to break the back end loose.

i was having the same problem with my tc4, i found unhooking the rear sway bar and putting the car on a tweak board showed major improvement

The front to rear weight transfer is off... you have a couple ways to fix it... easiest being to tighten up the front end suspension slightly and loosen up the rear... that will cause more transfer under power and allow for more traction.. the other option is to bring the ride height up slightly in the rear... you can do that by bringing the rear shocks more vertical... battery placement can also be moved slightly rearward...

Tons of options... I wouldnt do all of them... small adjustments mean you can keep an eye on its transition...

There are quite a few "setups" online... I would look for one that follows suit with the conditions and car setup that you are intending on using... and then tweaking from there...
