Default DSC Cable HELP + EPIC GP3300 HELP

G'day guys,

I have a couple of questions for yas.

1. I have Direct Servo Control (DSC) capability with my Hitec Lynx 3D and I was wondering if I need a particular cable or whether I could just make my own out of a battery holder from an old Futaba radio, or maybe just out of some simple wire into a harness. Do you guys that that could be done???

2. I race my F201 all the time down here in Australia, but since they don't have a class for the Vics, I decided that I was going to run in the Stock class for the Victorian State Titles. Now my question is this, Are there any particular tips for charging/discharging, equalising voltage or anything like that for the EPIC GP 3300 Matched, Zapped Team Packs??? I have got 3 in side by side configuration and I don't have a discharger or discharge tray or anything like that. I do have a Novak Millenium Pro for charging though. Could I just rig up a 20A discharger like what the deans light bulb discharger is, and then have a 30 ohm resistor hooked up through a deans connector to the battery to equalise the cells????? How would you make a discharger like that?? Would the resistor thing work properly??? I saw it in a magazine but I'm not entirely sure how that'd go, and I don't wanna stuff up some really HOT cells!!

Thanks for ya help, can't wait for a reply. New things are always exciting!!!
