In Japan, most guys run their side springs on the outer hole position (on top of the side-link). I prefer the inner hole position, however, you'll need to run a slightly firmer spring (inner hole position).

Just a quick note on this chassis.

The overall length is 2 mm longer than the stock Yokomo C3.1 chassis. Which means if you're running the Team Bomber adjustable bulkheads then you'll probably have to move the axle in the forward position. If not, then you'll be running a 5 mm longer wheelbase.

By all means give it a try and see how it works with running 5 mm!

Just a picture to show the different wheel colors. You can still run the Yokomo front wheels with no problems. If you're all about looks, you can run any brand of front wheel with no issues. Keep in mind, as you change from one wheel brand to another the offset might be different. Which means you'll have a different front and rear track width.

does it need a thrust bearing on this differential?
