Lightbulb Gear Ratio suggsetion !

I just brought a Venno Fireball 17T modify Motor


It is a 17*2 Motor, What gear ratio I should?


Did anyone have a 17*2 motor on their RC car?, and what are the final driving ratio you are using.

ahhhh venom fireball 17T
my fireball 15T died 2 weeks ago...
it was crap in the first place...kept on eating brushes so fast...
i've got a tl01 and i ran the 15T with speed tuned gears and a 19T pinion...it gets 45kph...

i've got an ss5800 now...weee my tl01 does 70kph

how was the drifting these days!?

my friend, got his TT01 with PVC tire, always go to Macq. Uni to drift at night!

by the way.. what motor is ss5800? where and how much u got it in sydney?

$395 from WA radiomodels
its a novak ss5800 brushless system...comes with motor and ESC
drifting is cool...but i've got the need for speed now
i want to hit 100kph
i beat elims v one s nitro

Your running the "speed tuned" gears....Speed Tuned = Higher Ratio Higher Ratio = Motors burning up faster

any other ppl can suggest me what sort of gear ratio for me to run a 17T motor?

hehe.... is a old Tamiya TA02

I know its internal Driving ratio is 2.436

and according to tamiya gear chart, it suggest me to run 69T Spur with 25T pinion on a Tamiya Sport Tune Motor -> 6.73:1

But for a 17T *2 motor... I have no idea what gear ratio I should use...

So Chill Will, can you help me
