Yet one more system.

There is a small company in Northern California called Nimble that is working on a microwave technology transmiter receiver system. I met the guy the last night that Titus raced and he seemed to have his stuff together. The radio was a prototype and looked a little goofy but was small and light. On top of that the radio worked off of a 9volt battery. He said he should have radios shipping before the end of the year. I doubt that they will have the telemetry technology of this system, which I think is awesome, but it's yet another brick in the wall of the big manufacturers. The big guys need to pull their heads out and stop resting on their past success.

Nimble seems to be making nice stuff. One of their chargers is reviewed on the front page of this site. If they're really using microwaves, the inevitable jokes will be unfortunate. :-D

Wait, Nimble... is one of there guys gonna come over here and argue milliseconds and electrical engineering with me?! j/k

Can someone post a picture of the receiver? on a car or not.

I find very promissing and I'm sure that works without problem then I'll sell me Ko-Propo Mars SE for it because it has something to offer ;)

Presently the reciever casing is only a prototype, so I'm not allowed to take pictures, sorry.

So, I would guess it's safe to assume that if you only have prototype recievers than they won't be shipping anything anytime soon.

The ones we are testing were their older cases, the electronics are basically all the same. This won't cause any delay.
