Sorry for off topic but can you PM me on how he did that?
I didnt think it was possible without running the 009 chassis.

not sure online but local Serpent dealer got some in stock a few weeks ago.
was going to get one but TOP Racing is releasing there one shortly so will wait to get a few for my TOP Racing Scythe's.
TOP diff looks to be the smallest of the gear diffs available.

Ran my gear diff all weekend filled with 1k oil in 100* F temperatures. The track surface was 145*-150*. The oil broke down a lot but I liked it as it thinned out. I did notice more leakage around the outdrives with the thinner oil than I did with the 8k oil.

Let me just say that I'm jealous of all you guys running a gear diff for the Tamiya and Xray cars. I'd like to test one too Would be fun to try in mod. Is everyone running them in mod or are they also good for the spec classes? Mainly 17.5???

I have used them in Mod, 13.5 and 17.5, and have not had issues in any of the classes...

Hopefully the company making them makes one for the Cyclone soon. With the new car coming out maybe they held off on design since the new diff is different

Thanks for the replies though.
