I heard that the New LRP Brushes are just like the CS. the LRP Drivers were running them several times without cutting the comm.

The new LRP Brushes are similar but not exactly the same as the CS.
GM-Racing also had some new silver brushes developed looking similar. There will be 3 different brushes again as with the old ones. But from what I know these aren´t released yet.

Yep, the new LRP P-brushes (that's how they're called) are the identical compound as the CS Silvers. Maybe you've a better chance getting those in your area, part-no's are 65911 (1pair) and 65915 (5pairs).
Retail price should be around the same as the CS.

We run them 50+ runs and we usually cut the comm every 2-3 runs at large races but you can easily do 10+ runs between rebuilds with no real drawbacks. It's just difficult to convince drivers not to touch the motors too often...

@PizzaDude: Associated, as the US-distributer of all LRP-products, does unfortunately not carry our brushes. They only have a selection of our lineup which is speedos, chargers and receivers.
You either have to try to find them in Europe or Asia! Sorry

@RcMonk: yep, these brushes are available.

CS currently has no distributor in the states and as of the last time I talked with them, they have no plans to. They would like to have dealer accounts with individual shops. They are very easy to work with. Just contact them and you can buy direct.

Oasis2001:

Is it ok if I send an oversea bank cheque (in AUS$) to "METRO HOBBIES" for ordering the CS brush?? Is Aus$ 5 enough for the air postage for 3 pairs of brush to oversea??

Thanks Mate.

I understood the V2 design itself extended brushlife brush.
So why the need for special brushes?

@nnick: no no... we only have these as normal standup brushes, not laydown and not for V2!

Attached is a pic of the brush so we won't have more misunderstandings...
