Default What is the highest rollout a 540 can handle?

Hi guys,

Just wondering what the highest rollout a 540 could handle before it start damaging the motor?

I want to run between 40 and 44 do you think this will be ok as my motor gets very hot and im only running abouty 38 at the moment..

I run around 42 at the moment,

I have run at over 50 for about 5 mins, the motor was smoking (literally)

I run a 540 at 43 and it goes well, not that im a very accomplished driver, but my car is quick.
