thinking of getting into electric touring, have some ?'s
im thinking of getting an electric on road car. iv owned many R/Cs in the past so its not really a new hobby to me, but on road is something i havent dealt with much. i was wondering if you guys could give me any direction on which kit would be the best for me. i plan to do a brushless setup in it. im not really so concerned about weight and all that because i wont be really competitively(sp?) racing or anything so i dont need to spend hundreds and hundreds just on the kit alone (like a pro 4 or something like that) anyway id appreciate any recommendations on the right kit for me. thanks

i'd go for a tc3. excellent parts support almost everywhere, and a bog following (at least in my area). just my opinion.

BMI Racing. Any Popular kit out there he prorably has it. Real cool guy and Great products at low cost.

guys if hes starting out hes not gonna want to have to put a tc3 together to jsut strip it down and put a warpspeed or bmi chassis on there. think logically for a second and youll see that this would be asking to much and if he has a buget to stick to that will most likey be a no good

ya no worries installing hop ups and major mods stuff like that. like i said this isnt anything new to me really (like working on R/Cs and hopping up in general). but i do want to start off cheap and see if i like on road, then hop up.

hey ya about those t specs. i read about those in car action. just outa curiosity how do they perform on that stock motor it comes with?

Get something off of Ebay....theres no shortage of TC3's up there. Just get one of the Racer kits that goes for like $75 up there and if you decide to be competative get a Graphite Chassis ($100) and a set of good shocks ($40)
IMO Unless you take it to the track or have some friends around with one....Don't get into touring cars....if you are alone driving it that takes away 99% of the fun. Its not even worth considering if your gonna drive alone.
IMO If you are gonna be alone R/Cing....get a 2wd off-road truck like a T3 or a Stampede
