I perfectly understand it........I don't agree with how he has handled it either....

Even stolen off his porch, the shipper is still responsible.....and yes you can file a claim on goods even if they are recovered. I have before, one time because the item was damaged, the other time because it sat in the evidence locker for 3 months.

I am just saying, with the proper paperwork, I would of done the same as tower did if I was CE....yer talking about a $200 power supply that would kept a customer happy and prevented a thread like this..........CE may be small, but they can easily cover a $200 power supply......

I blame the Police. There is no real reason for them to hold the packages since the thieves were caught in the act.

I think both companies offered reasonable customer service. Towers was better, but that might be because of customer history. Tower might have you on their books as customer who buys lot of stuff from them every year and it might be the first time you have had trouble with delivery. If you'd been new customer they might have behaved differently.

Today my package from Tower has been five weeks on the way, perhaps I should ask them for another.
