I sprayed my car with doggie urine. I went outside and intersected a cheetah and had it chase the smelly car. Apparently, a hungry cheetah can go up to 100kh and I barely stayed in front. Sorry but I don't have a video, in fact, I don't even have pictures. You gotta just take my word for it. Did i mention that my car was powered by a car battery and trued P2k2pro, amazing torque.

Hope it helps to settle the score

My HPI Pro2 have been over 160 km/h - It was with Fukuyama batteries, LRP v7.1 ESC and a Acura NSX body to ensure enough downforce. We clocked it very carefully, by reading the speedo in my 1:1 car, while the Pro2 was on the backseat

It took me 3 reads to get that in my head.

Well, fortunately, it wasnt the police that did the clock work - the highst speeds allowed around here on official roads is 130 km/h.

I think it's a combination of aero drag and weight. Although, we also figured out that the car's rear wheels (2.25" diameter) at 74 mph were spinning at just over 11,000 rpm. I'm not sure how much more they can hold up to, even though we're pretty sure we can get the car going faster.

Associated set the R/C land speed record at 111 mph with a pancar on a bicycle track.

I have been into r/c racing for a while, and if you really want speed, go 10 to 12 cells and a Aveox brushless motor system.
They used to have insane speed runs where they either blew capped tires, melted differentials or just smacked the walls at over 100 mph. I know one guy who ran I think 98 (or was it 89) mph. Not Kph, but MPH. There was another who hit the 110 mark but couldn't complete the lap cause he bit the wall......badly. These cars was rwd systems running the Velodrome, I don't know if they still do today. I haven't heard of anyone installing a Aveox brushless system in a 4wd car, but when they do, they will be the fastest.

I have an old issue of RCCA that shows the cars hitting 110+. Its around here somewhere. If I get the chance I will take a pic of it.
