That does seem pretty risky, considering the amount of cash racers will be dropping just to go. Hope you guys get great weather.

Let me see. Been to Portland 3 times to race in SCCA.

- First time had a bit of rain for qualifying.

- Second time had rain for race...Not so bad because I brought some really good rain tires.

- Third time was the capper...Mount Saint Helens blew its top just as I arrived into town...Ash everywhere...And then, it rained...

Think these all happened in the month of June...Hope July is better!

(This was one of my better real race car stories...but true.)

Trust me , It is a very slim chance that it will rain in Portland. I live in the Seattle anre and the weather is always awesome for racing in the summer.

Mo and stlnlst are heading out around 9 I believe. John gets off work at 11 so we're heading out around noon. Mo drives so slow we should catch them by the time we get down there

It cuts the cost down for everyone and we've done this so many times that we have a good system down in the room. One person tears down motors another cuts them and someone is on tire detail. It's pretty smooth the way we work things.
