at speedworld its like 33-35 for monsters and like 34-36 for 19Ts. All in how you drive, how well your car carries cornerspeed, and how big the track is.

We are talking Sportsman Stock at Newark. Otherwise, I might touch a 32 pinion for the longer RCCAR tracks.
Otherwise, I do see Experts (you) running 64 pitch gears 1-2 teeth higher than me; so, I'm still working towards more speed and consistency. And Nick is quickly coming up 'the ladder'.
Assume you will be at the Speedworld Cup in June; so, we can check out the latest bling, bling stuff on your car.

Randy better be there to race.

Speedworld has been significantly faster for me than the typical Newark track layout. Nick hasn't seen SW yet.
But, then there are batteries, setups, tires, inserts, wheels, bearings, body, diffs, belts, lube, weight, balance, radios, servos, ESCs, etc. Just as you more experienced ones keep telling us.
The contributors in this forum sure do help us in our quest for speed...And we appreciate the help and comraderie (sp?).

Ya Randy I thought that I might give it a try untill the gas track gets sealed. I thought about Laser, but I don't know if I really want to drive the two hours. Eeyore (Orin) and I were talking about the track, it sounds very cool though.

At this new place I ran at this weekend I was 36/128 with a monster. I swear the straight was 160ft at least. It was awesome.

Is traction compound commonly used in parking lot races with rubber tires? If so any particular brand or application method.
Does the actual condition of the lot matter when considering traction compound; i.e. well swept, not so well swept, or well swept and sugar water applied.

I don't usually sauce my tires for parkinglots. No matter how well they prep the track, it's still a parkinglot and you feel like you're on ice with sauce. The only things that's ever worked well on parkinglots was Simple Green.

which one is the new graphite chassis, the one that says TL under the esc or the one that dosen't?

I've been running that old style since the kit came out. I just recently bought the new style to try and save a little weight.
If you want the new one, be sure you order get the "G+" style. I don't even know if you can order the old style or not.
