Got the car working awesome tonight at SoCal, hopefully it'll do just as good this Sat, but I'm really happy with it for just the 3'rd raceday.

go to your local beauty supply store and pick up some cutticle nippers. use it to snip the teeth off of the belt you want to cut. yellow and blue belts cut every other one and you shouldnt have two next to each other at the end. if you cut the teeth on the black one then you will have two teeth next to each other at the end because it is an odd number belt.

whats the point to cutting every other tooth? The best doesnt slip any if you do this or it doesnt weaken it enough to break it?

Cutting every other tooth will free up the drivetrain, the belt flexes easier with the teeth cut off. I run it mod with no problems with skipping at all, just when I use the brakes it'll skip a tooth or two, but it's not a problem. You wont weaken the belt at all by cutting the teeth off, just dont cut into the reinforcement fibers in the main belt part.

What are you trying to achieve by milling the chassis, dont know if there are any secrets or anything, but I guess I'd know em if there are...

Just dont mill all the way through the chassis, I went about 1.5mm into the chassis I did and it is still stiff as a rock. If you run on low traction surfaces it might not be bad to mill all the way through the chassis to get some more flex.

tanx for the info, one more question though, after cutting every other tooth, should i install the belt with the same tension when new?

tanx again in advance.
