Has anyone tried ceramic bearings and noticed any more free spin on the drivetrain?

I've got them but I haven't put them on the track yet. Just barely put them in the car. I will try them on Wednesday night and let you know if it improves my times any.

When you guys used to have to clip the teeth off your drive belts did you take every other tooth off? At the end of it did you end up with 2 teeth left on the belt as there were a uneven number of teeth? Or was there a even number of teeth? Thanks Rick Draper

On the yellow belt there is 200 teeth so you shouldn't have two teeth next to each other when you are done. Yes, clip every other tooth on the yellow belt. Haven't counted the teeth on the black belt yet.

If you cut every other tooth off of the black belt you will be left with two teeth side by side at the end... that is normal...

yellow and blue belts should not have this problem...

Or you could be like me and not look ahead and have 2 teeth cut off in a row...

O well

Kevin's is gonna shock everyone, that should be about the lightest XXXS chassis to date. I've finished the motor side on it and it is bare, gotta do the battery side now.
