Sauce is a generic term for any kind of tire additive. I like Paragon's traction compound, since it works well for me and leaves my car smelling minty fresh.

There are nearly as many kinds of traction compounds as there are tires, so your mileage will almost certianly vary. I'd ask around at your local track and see what everyone else is using, and decide if you want to conform or be a rebel.

Conformism is a good way to start, since it will let you compare setups with other racers that much easier.

I believe those would just be the Losi blue and green springs, the blue springs I bought are longer than the stock springs by maybe 3/16", so that may be the "congo" part of it

Hmm, the setup sheet still asks for green springs, I'd think that they would be the Losi ones.

Default Congo springs..........

You can still get the Purple and Yellow congo springs but the Blue ones are gone....and if you find them grab them.

The congo blue is close to a Losi black its between a white and a black I feel. Its funny no other spring feels like it.....

Wonder why trinity discontinued them??

After the recent surge in popularity of the foam tire TC class, you'd think they'd think about bringing them back.

Could anyone tell me what advantage the Kevlar Spur gear is supposed to provide over the plastic one?

I think that they are lighter wich means less roatating mass, and there quite a bit stronger, so they shouldnt strip so easily, and i think there only in 64 pitch

It looks cool I guess....and its harder so they run more "tru". They are just as quiet as the other gear but I dont think any more quiet then the Blue ones. Its not going to make you faster or slower but next time you need a spur try one out and see what it does for yourself.
