Rick- The last i checked XRAY did win the Snowbirds (800 entries making it the biggest race in the world) it also TQed and won the ROAR carpet nats so saying that they dont win is not a fair statement. They have out performed AE,Losi, and Yokomo over the past year

They're probably running the Spektrom 2.4ghz system.

Those of you making comments about these cars are pretty off base. Throughout the past two days there were plenty of instances where, among others, the TC4, Xray and RDX were right on pace with the other top ten drivers.

not a bad showing for the newest version of the yokomo sd line.
considering they did not send a whole bunch of drivers. (although Masami
is always a lock to make the main)

xray is a good car, no complaints.
but it is a car based on carpet being europe. that's why it is a top running car on carpet i.e snowbirds

It's never just one thing that makes or breaks. It's the whole package of driver, car, motors, cells.

Good to see a couple of Brits in the final as well

Just got back to the hotel. Racing was awsome today. The race is really Rheinard's to lose, he has been the fastest guy most of the week.

Jarrod has some great photo's to post. They will be up later tonight.

May I remind you guys that it's a belt driven car that's TQ'd ?

So much for the shaft-belt war on efficiency, isn't it ?
