Default Pics are up!

Like I said before, my help was needed in the computer department, so my photography suffered today because of it. I shot photos with my 300mm lens from behind the computer desk

I tell ya, I wish I could take pics that good from an ideal spot on the side of the track. You managed some great shots from a less-than-ideal spot. Good Work!

yeah, it was like this:

start the race on the primary and backup timing system

ensure everyone's counting

grab camera and snap away

yell at team associated mechanic for being in my way

keep shooting

look at computers

shoot again

review pics on camera, delete as necessary

check computer

oops, manually score that lap on the guy who missed when goin by..

shoot some more

race is over, hit print results on each machine

put camera down

get prints

start over again...

Can't wait for tomorrow. When all the DNF get dropped, it will be interesting to see the finalized shakedown.

Thanks for the videos, they are really nice. It puts it more in perspective than just reading the threads and checking out the awesome pics. The cars are carrying some amazing speeds.

I finally got some photos up over at Starting Grid. I've discovered that if I want to keep shooting with the D2h, I better get a faster computer or take less photos. My portable runs at crawl-speed. For now, what I posted is mostly Team Yokomo, the people, and Masami's car. It's hard to take 500 pictures and narrow it down to a dozen or so to post.

Anyway, the short cut to get to them is:

http://www.rc-racing.com/cgi-bin/bac...eek:sgrid8,150

Assuming I have time, there will be more. If you have an account, just log on and read the item, so next time it will automatically only show you what is new. If you use the above link, it just displays what is there, and doesn't update your account or anything.

Thanks to Jarrod, the qualifying standings are also now posted there, but I suspect they're also posted here as well.
