Go to:

http://www.roarracing.com/products/sbody.htm

If it appears there in the1/10 Sedan or 1/12th GTP list you can run it at the Worlds in that class.

Just making sure that it is the ROAR list that is what is being used.

Ha,ha all ROAR Bodys are legal at the Worlds!!
No guys, not realy!! ONLY the bodys in the IFMAR list are legal!!!
The new list will be out soon...
The regestration deadline for 1/12 bodys was 22th june and for TC somewhere in may!!!
If a company forget to send a new body to IFMAR (together with pics from the original car and the IFMAR regestration form) it will NOT be legal!!!!
Bad luck if someone forgett this.......

Sorry Robert, but IFMAR has said that the "host" country's body list applies and this means all ROAR approved bodies are legal for this years Worlds

Sorry but you are wrong! Take a look at the IFMAR regestration forms! The pdf file comes direct from Heiner Martin the IFMAR chairmann Electric Track. Worlds are IFMAR races so the IFMAR relement counts, not the relement of the country. (ROAR, EFRA,...)

Sorry but so it is...

I also want rules that counts everywhere!!!!

The organisations and companys sould work together to find a way for a reglement for the hole world!!!

Then why did they allow any ROAR approved body at the PreWorlds? This was direct from IFMAR to use the sanctioning body approval list. That would be pretty lame if they allowed everything for the PreWorlds, then said, "OK, all your testing is useless and you can only run these bodies."

We even had this discussion before the PreWorlds started, a lot of people were wondering if we would be required to use the 170mm wings versus the standard 190mm wings that are issued with every ROAR body. IFMAR approved all ROAR bodies and wings to be used.

Maybe a mistake from the organiser?
All i can say is take a look in the form and IFMAR reglement...
Thats what count is the IFMAR reglement for the Worlds!!!

IFMAR= World champioship races
EFRA= European championship races
ROAR= US nats

Stupid, but we have to play the game with the right rules!

Like i say before we need ONE rule for all races WORLDWIDE!!!
But for this Worlds it was to late...

Every Losi and Protoform 4 door T2 ROAR Legal Body is also IFMAR Legal. Not sure about Trinity and Parma Bodies. You would have to call them and ask. I know Protoform and Losi send all race bodies to all sanctioning to get legalized.

Jeff is right. At the Pre Worlds all communication from the Grants and Heiner Martin indicated the ROAR list of approved bodies was IFMAR legal. Every time we pressed IFMAR for their body list they said use the ROAR list.

Unfortunately in their infinite wisdom IFMAR sent no official to the Pre-Worlds to definitively clarify these things.

This was something i was worried about... I know in the past we had to use Ifmar's list for bodies and if you had a small mfg of a good body there was a chance they did not get it approved because of the all mighty $$$$$$.. I know this happend in Japan for a few bodies.. Just hope this get's worked out soon....

One way or the other it would be nice to know what is going on ...
