Hi Anders

That statement from Stewart Grant is not correct

And regarding why "EFRA" donīt like the Mazda, when I asked him what he mean by "the Mazda is not 'reasonable' " listen to this:
Hi Anders

"What do you mean by "not an even a 'reasonable'"? The Protoform Mazda 6 is perhaps the best copy of all models ever"( my question)

In the BRCA used the phrase that the cars should be a 'reasonable' representation not accurate or realistic. They have their own Eligibility Officer and he went and compared it to the real car and it was nowhere near good enough to meet even the BRCA's slightly more relaxed criteria. I don't see how it could even be the best copy ever. The Mazda 6 does not meet Ifmar requirements and we all now have to deal with the mess left by Heiner

Man, this thread is hurtin'.

In a way, approving the Mazda 6 this late in the game is just as bad as not approving it originally. We are about two weeks away from the opening of the 1/12 worlds, and the rules are still in flux? Wow!

As Bender once said: I'm going to start my own racing organization... but with blackjack, and hookers!

I have no mention to be rude or against anyone but I honestly think the bodylist should be put deep in those organizations' ****.

Although it's racing, these are not real cars and it should be hobby for most of the guys. Now it seems to be 'a survival of the quickest' in purchasing all possible bodies availableon market. The list is maybe changed at the time, once again

Anyway, who really thinks almost all other bodies than PF & HPI Stratus' are only 'reasonable' and realistic bodies to be raced with? Now touring class is a true spec class with everybody running the same model of 6 years old Stratus bodies instead of being able to use the latest developments in body industry that would work and look much cooler for spectators, too. Not to mention drivers interests of having even better handling stuff.

At least I have never seen relatively that big rear wings in a real race car or seen them racing without side mirrors.

So much for a realistic and reasonable TC bodies

Just my 2 cents...

I had my local shop call YokomoUSA for both a type "D" and type "E", and he was told they were not available, and there were no plans to get them. ( that was 2 weeks ago).

Keep in mind that Mike Haswell is not a IFMAR officer He is with EFRA. He can influence but has no power with IFMAR.

The post from the ROAR Prez was from IFMAR and should be considered the final word.
