Myself I would love to see the worlds at the Tamiya USA Track. That is a world class track.

And your right there are way too many people bitching about the race. Many of you complaining i don't see out running races. It is not an easy task to run a race. You need to be on top of everything, and not everything goes as planed.

OK I'd like to make a resolution that no person who has not been actively involved in running a race meeting has a right to comment about how the people who put in the untold hours of work manage.

I also move that this pointless discussion in now closed!

Now to the serious stuff. How many hours a day do I need to practice to make the next worlds, and how do I get back the reflexes I had 30 plus years ago as a teenager?

Cheers
Peter

Though I was not there at Worlds, I think all racers did put up their best effort on pitting with each other and it's a tough fight till the end.... and it could only be one champion....

cheers to Baker, Masami, Hara, Marc and every1 else whom attended the race......

can't wait till Ray Woods put it up on the DVD.....

godspeed.....

it would be soooo great if the next worlds would be on a real tight driver-track. not on a track where motor-power is everything. the best driver should win, not the best motor (marc has both of it--holy...s....!!!)

Lostallo must be the worlds biggest and longest track. Itīs hughe. Even for a 1/8 gas car or a 1/5. Just wonder who will be able to spot a 1/12 there..... The weather between the alps is kind of unsure as well.:nod

I agree with Anders. My vote goes to Collegno!

Marc, many congratulations on an excellent display of driving. In my opinion your car wasn't handling any better than those of your closest competitors. In my book the World's best driver won the World Championship fair and square. You fully deserve this win!

Oscar, many congratulations to you too. The hard work over the past years has finally paid off. The V2 design is a force to be reconned with and is here to stay! Also my thanks to both Joe Pillars and yourself for the great support provided to all the Orion and Peak drivers at the event!

As to the organization, off course there are things that can be critisized and hopefully the next organizing committee will take note. BUT, given all the problems before (e.g. hurricanes!) and during the event, as a participant I can only thank the organizers in general and Jorge in particular for a job well done!

Reading through this thread I am surprised about the amount of controversial topics discussed. As a driver I didn't feel there was a lot of controversy, in fact a lot less than is usual for these types of events...

Will be interesting to see how they will change the track at least 60% in Italy after the warm up... Seems to be a permanent one
