I've got a "studio" shot of Matt Francis's car before the mains.

I attached a shot from the pits to this message.

The pic below is of his "picture" car. His race car was not photographed during the event. It was kept under his pit table unless it needed work or just before a run. It really wasn't all that diffrent. He ran softer springs, a home made rear sway bar, a thinner chassis and a few other very minor bits. This is a pretty common tactic at world events meant to throw off competitors looking at the fast guys car.

he obviously has a KO receiver in his car. I doubt they are compatible. I need to dig through my pics to find one of him on the stand during the mains and I'll get back to you..
actually, alot of people running M8's can run Ko receivers with them just fine.I have for over a year.

marc isn't sponsored by sanwa, futaba and ko -not yet.....
the car marc used in the race is a 415MS with thinner chassi, white belts and so on. btw it looks cooler with silver springs and silver anti roll bars....

Default More Worlds Pictures

I have finally put together a slide show with most of the pictures we took at the worlds. You can click on the link below to view them! Be patient the slideshow is actually quite big!! 54 pictures total and i am only half way done!

There is also a shot of the actual car Reinhart ran with, not the photo op car! that one is to the left of the picture! Good Tactic though!

I am not 100% sure that is the car he used to win with. The pics of it on Team orions site have subtle little changes. Rick
