OK Tony...were good I am just very sensitive about this matter as I have invested a lot of time and effort in this event.

There was a lot less drama with regards to secret deals than you think. There really were a lot of corrections to the final results due to software bugs, a protest about the end of A3 and the IFMAR results certification process is very extensive to ensure there are no errors. This was certainly not a print the results and tape them up situation. It was a little over an hour after the race was completed before any one knew for sure the final order.

Adrian: who you going to vote for Mickey or Goofy or the write in Donald Duck?? ( I'm voting for Mickey)

We did surrive a car crash and down to one vehicle prevented us from giving any help except for Sat. And that required working overtime to get the day off so that we could go over and offer to help at 8:00 in the morning insted of waiting till noon to show up for the race.

I have thoughts,

The coverage was pretty good I wasn't disapointed. I think the staff did there job, they obviously busted there butts and did the best they could under the circumstances.

IFMAR however, Should probably stand for::

Idiots for Many Associated Rejects

I mean holding 2 Worlds events in a three week period. Moronic
I ran into Barry Baker before he left for Florida and he was sick from Brazil, now maybe he was feeling better by race time but all that flying and being sick like that takes it's toll.

The facility had no provided power, and people had to go far to find a internet outlet to get information to the Public.
IFMAR should require a high speed outlet be avalible to the media at events such as this, they should require post race press conference. Power should be required at the Track, and be avalible to all without any problems. and that whole exclusivity thing with RC Driver I mean WTF.

IFMAR pull your head out of you a..

Congrats to Marc, It's great the USA hosts a huge event like this and Team USA gets dominated.

What Did we only have 1 driver in the A-main ???? and I think that was Matt Francis an offroad guy wtf!!!!!
Three American cars made the Main, and 2 of those american cars were not driven by USA drivers.

my 2 cents

I'm don't get what it matters that the host country didn't win?

If he ran a helios wouldn't he use the 302 receiver?

I dont care the host country didn't win, I was just concerned the host country didn't do well at all, I'm sure we had much better showings at previous Worlds.

There is always a little bit of luck involved in any race, even at this level. There were plenty of US drivers who were fast enough, but perhaps things just didn't fall their way.

not just a little bit ... but LOTS of luck .... I think ...
Unfortunately, people in general would only look at the final results. A lot of drivers deserved to be in a much higher grid... but that's what they call it 'racing' ...

Thumbs up

Thank you all for your hard work for bringing the coverage for this event. I have been glued to this board for the past week

I just wonder how good the control tires work of the FTS. and what the racers used for traction. Thanks

I noticed that Marc is using a Twister instead of a Twister2.

I have been going over a bit of our video, unfortunately I'm not going to have time to put together a cut tonight so it will have to wait until tomorrow. Overall it looks pretty decent. Hang in there.
