What motors was Paul L running?

I wonder if this Tuesday race night will be very crowded with PROS at SoCal?
Paul runs for custom works with Jim Dieter now. It was probably a v2 endbell with custom works arm.

is it like the car they made for the ROC in May?
Pretty much. the only question whether they ran the 2.5mm chassis at the RROC or the standard 3mm one.

To the best of my knowledge, the True Speed motors that Paul and Jim have been working on have been Epic based. They could have changed though with the TOP OEM motors now starting to show up (ala Fantom)

Will it be gold, pink, red, or blue anodized though, lol

Rubber tires are for real cars not r/c cars.

WOW...what a great bunch of mains !! The B and the A were great to watch. Marc was on fire and ran sooooo clean. Best of all....I finally got autographs from all my Tamiya heros !! Masami showed some serious skills, was always in the hunt and is such a nice guy. BTW, David Jun say's the NSX he won at the Xmod championships is going to cost big time in taxes........shall we take up a collection or just plan on mugging him and taking the car !! Thanks to all the Tamiya guy's for taking the time to sign my shirt. Congrats to Marc for a well deserved world champ race.

Thumbs up

Tamiya won !!

Tamiya design the first 1/10 touring car TA01 (Nissan R32) years ago...ppl said it a toy car

TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) design the first race ready TRF414X several years ago...ppl laugh

Surikarn Chaidisuriya won the world champ two years ago, ppl think it's a fluke....

Now...I am VERY happy as I am a Tamiya believer since TA03 days...

BTW, rubber tires is for man ! foam is for you Chris....

BTW, for you HPI guy's....Daisuke was incredibly quick and if he hadn't had a slight off on the next to last lap and then had to get thru back markers....he would have had a real chance at the win. He was on Marcs' tail in all the technical sections but Marc would pull away on the straight. He's definitely a world class driver !!

Shane...rctech should have had access. Trust me when I say that many people there didn't like it !!!

No offense to RC Driver......Hey Katzer, where were you ??!! Thought I'd have a chance to finally meet you. Maybe at the Bird's

We watched every race today at the worlds, and it was some of the best racing ever.

Jarrod lives right there, so it didn't make any sence to spend money to fly me down and have me stay in a hotel. I'll admit thought I would have loved to go. I won't be at Birds either, I think Erich is covering that. I'd like to come down for the Losi race, but again with Jarrod living down there, I think that he'll be doing that one again. I know, move to SoCal, I'm there a few times a year, rofl.

only three years ago i had the pleasure to beat marc at the open luxemburg nats and now he is the worlds best tc driver...still unbelievible. great to have again a german world class driver.

im pretty sure that the "415 MR edition" will come without some important screws and some broken parts. you'll understand that if you will see marcs car some day....
