Yup, it looks like a plain jane SD SSG to me too just with the 90 degree servo mod.

That is roughly the same car that Billy was running at the ROAR Nationals in July. As far as I know, he has chosen not to run the CGM, although who knows if Yokomo USA was given access to this new car that Masami is driving.

He really did good with whatever car that was given to/or chosen by him. Props to Billy.

Actually, Yokomo Japan provided the new cars (SDW) to three drivers including Masami and Billy. Apparantly, the SSG worked best, especially during the 'greasy' condition. The SSG offers more 'flex' (in fact 'most) than any other SD version.

In fact, some racers driving Yokomo (on the lower grid) were advised by Masami to run the SSG chassis at this particular track & condition (temp. - track layout - traction - tires etc.)

..just sharing some information ..

Default Marc Rheinard

I saw Marc racing for the first time in 1999 in Hungary when he won the Tamiya Mini European championship against much older and much more experienced drivers.
I think he must have been 12 or so, and you could hardly spot him on the podium.

To see that he continued his hobby with so much drive and passion is great. I hope he becomes World Champion and can be an example for the "Xbox and PS2" generation.
Go for it Marc!
