since i didnt have a radar gun at my disposal, i got the speed measured by clocking the time it took for me to do a lap of the track flat out. we already got the length of the track measured and did a bit of math... the speed i got from the computation worked out to 81.78kph... i just found the old notebook with the data recorded from that day...

my brother and i had a 10th pan car doing 74 mph down the road by our house. We followed it in a ford explorer, i was driving the ford, and my brother had the radio hanging out the window. lol.

btw - 12 cells and twin 7 turn motors that my brother made a custom motor plate for.

it was awesome.

My car goes 68mph. It's a micro with a 540 Epic binary 2 10 turn motor.

So whats the factors that keeps a 10 cell pan car from doing 100mph? Is it aero drag, gearing, tires coming apart? It just seems to me that it shouldnt be that hard from a motor/battery standpoint to do 100mph in a straight line.
