Default TC3 Spur Gear Selection 48 pitch

Just a quick question.

Is it possible to run a smaller spur gear on the TC3 like a 69 tooth ?

I pretty much will use pinion gears from 26 to 30 tooth.

Thanks!

Robinson racing sells gears made for the tc3 in 48 pitch:

70,72,74,76,78,80

they are very light and durable, I have been using them for a while.

Thanks, just trying to see what would be more cost effective as I can either switch the spur or buy another pinion.

I use 69 for 19 turn motors and 75 for stock motors.

Xenon makes spurs 65,66,67...... 89 teeth 48DP

so there are different choices for the TC3. Yokomo SD and HPI Pro4 spurs are the same.
When I was running the TC3 I think I was using a 67 teeth spur with stock motors at some large tracks.

Great, I think I may make a stop the LHS and see what they got for gear selection.

LHS only carries a large selection for pinion sizes up to 50 tooth, so I am going to get a larger pinion ( just 1 ) and go from there.

Where can I order these spurs cheap?

Speedtech sells them as Speed Tech R/C Light Weight Precision Spur Gears.
I tried lot of spurs in the past and the Xenon are some of the best available.
