i tried using a reciever pack with my NOVAK GT-7 and i was wondering if i should switch on my ESC or not.

(would it use the RX pack if it was switched on or would it simply bypass the rx pack as soon as it is turned on.)

You have to switch it on. It uses RX bat as priority, if that falls short it switches to normal bat.

If I not mistaken this is the procedure that comes with the GT7 in the box when you purchased it right??..
