I'm running foam tires on my xxx-s on a tight ozite carpet track. After about 2 runs, the front tires turn shiny and smooth on the inside edges. It almost looks like wrn off tire material is building up there. The rest of the tire looks fine. I'm wondering if this is a sign of not enough camber or incorrect toe settings? I'm not sure if the tire gets like that from overusing that area of the tire or not.

To me, that sounds like camber and not toe in. I think that Toe in would be more uniform, but camber would effect the edges more.

That I believe is an educated guess from someone who does not run foam or on carpet, but has camber guages and read technical information on setting up full size cars.

if the tire has 2 different foam compounds in it, that could be the other compound.

It does sound like your camber is not right. You may be overheating the tires on the edges and that's what you are seeing. Go to your favorite stationary store and pick up a thin paint marker. Make 4 or 5 stripes across the tires in various places and do a few hot laps. Check your tires and see if the paint is gone from the inside edges and remains on the outside. If so, take out some camber and repeat the test until you get even wear. You might also have to play around with the upper link position since that controls the camber change as the suspension moves. I'd probably ask one of the fast guys running the same car as you are for their setup and start with that. Make sure you note their upper link position, kickup and so forth. Just getting the camber and toe settings don't tell the whole story.

o, i didnt quite get what you were saying before,but now i get it i thought you were talking about when on multiple compound foams the second compound on the edge of the tire begins to show. i have no idea then what you could do i would say listen to phsyco.
