Default What do I have here? I think I know but wanted opinions

Ok, so I picked up this beauty at a garage sale last week. I shall not mention how much I paid for it lol. I believe it to be some sort of Tamiya RM (road master) series. Upon further digging it looks as though it may be a Tamiya New Man Porsche MK7 RM FROM 1985. It still works beautifully with that mechanical speed controller. It's kind of neat seeing how this all began. What is the value of something like this?

Funny, I scored one yesterday.
Your right, tamiya, mid 80's. There were a few body variants, mine is a Tamiya Toms 84C
Value......like anything, as much as someone is willing to pay.

I can't really comment on its money value(like bd581 said, depends on how much someone might want one), but that does bring back memories, the Newman Porsche was my very first RC kit, that led to me later buying an RC10 a couple of months later & began my racing habit over 26 years ago(& still going strong)....

Thanks for the clarifications...I think I'm just going to hold onto it as their are hardly any (especially working) around. Kind of cool seeing how it all began.
