i have a question. im new to electric racing(raced nitro before) and i have the speed passion club combo(Cirtix stock esc and 17.5 motor). i set the throttle and braking but the manual says the yellow light will blink when changing from neutral to full brake to full throttle but mine never did(red led blinks and it beeps). is that normal?
also, when applying the brakes while driving(no reverse)....does it normally take a sec or two before they are applied? or should the brakes by applied immediately?
and what gearing do you guys run?

A member at my club just got a Citrix Stock Club Race and I'm trying to find out how to change the "Programmable Items" without the program card. I hope he doesn't have to buy the program card to change three functions, that would suck as I recommended he buy this ESC.
There is a "Pro" version of the Citrix?? It's not listed on Speed Passions website???
Thanks for the help.

I was disappointed at the time too when I had to buy it, but it was the only time I've been disappointed in it. If mine broke today i would buy another one. That's how much I like it.

He will have to buy the program card. I bought mine at TQ Racing online I think for $15.00 or so. It was the cheapest I found. I really only used it once to set the drag brake and then I've never used it again. If you find someone with one just use theirs and you'll be set.

I just picked up one of these esc's new at a club race for my VTA. I was not aware that i needed the card to program. I dont mind having to buy it. I just need to know what to buy. I see there are two different cards and a link that looks like castles link. Which card is the best and do i need the link too?
