how would the citrix be in an oval spec class with not esc timing? Looking for comparison to tekin rs and novak GTB is spec mode? For the price might be something to look into.

How do you program drag brake into the ESC?

With the cirtix programming/setting card.....it looks like the speedpassion setting card but it only works on the cirtix line. You can use the card to program the Voltage cutoff, Temp cutoff and Drag-Brake with it.

Default Going to give it a try myself.

I decided to get a setup for the old B4 I have on my workbench. For under $110 with the programmer, I can chalk it up to an experiment if it totally blows.

I've never done business with TQ, but again.. if all else fails, I can always dispute it. LOL. I'm sure it will all go well, and the Club Spec will be MORE than enough for my current level (pathetic) racing skills.

Results of how I feel about the system will be on my blog once I get it in hand and installed. Glad I came across this thread and found out that I needed that programmer too. I'd have been REALLY bummed out if I'd not gotten a programmer since the LHS' here don't carry this line.

**Update..
Wow.. they shipped that within hours!

TQ was the best I've ever dealt with. I've been running a TEKIN in my VTA car but getting the pressures of going away to race has forced me to upgrade. I really like the Speed Passion. It didn't feel any different than my TEKIN. I changed the brake to 100% and drake brake to my desire and never touched it the rest of the day! You'll be happy.

The Cirtix Stock Club Race cannot be upgraded - that's the beauty of this beast!
For the other Cirtix versions, the PC interface software V6.0 seems to be the latest.

Cirtix CLUB RACE ESC is not a firmware updatable ESC...nor USB upgradable, updatable...

Unless you are asking about the other CIRTIX ESC unit like Short Course or Rhino.
