Canīt say if the Cirtix works with 1S and the booster but at least works for a lot of guys here using 2S and different motors. I donīt think the ESC could burn up if the sensor wires fail, actually the Cirtix should switch to sensorless mode in this case.
One thing I noticed when running Corally or Graupner (outlaw) type motors, when running on low throttle there is a very strange noise coming from the motor. Sounds like a broken drivetrain.

Jimmy-I just wanted to see how you placed the esc in the car. Its a very tight fit with the sensor socket under the A,B,C, wire board.
One more thing, what's in beteen the motor and esc?
Thank Ed...

Ed,

The power cap is between the ESC and the Motor. I had side with the motor & battery (and the sensor plug) facing to the outside of the car and the switch harness side to the inside of the car.

I had the switch & esc signal wire bundled up to the rear and then placed the esc in to hold them in place. Make sure to plug in the sensor wire on the ESC before placing it in the car, otherwise it is not possible to plug it in with how I mounted it.

Jimmy

Yeah, that is actually Jimmy's car...and we all place our club spec the same way like that....sensor/power/motor wire side facing outside edge of car...it fit with alittle room left.

I would suggest connect the motor and test the system first before mounting the ESC as the sensor socket will be blocked by the side edge of the TA05 tub.

So I bought one of these instead of getting my Tekin fixed.

Installed it with an LRP x12 17.5. Reversed the throttle on my DX3R..set EPA to 100%. Calibrated the ESC; neutral - button - one beep, full throttle - button - two beeps, brake - button - three beeps. I then reset the ESC and I get a solid yellow with a flashing red LED and I get no throttle response whatsoever. I've tried this with two other motors...Trinity D3 17.5 and SP V3 17.5. Did I buy a dud???

WElcome to the world of the SP Cirtix ... biggest piece of rubbish I have seen so far.

Mine went up in smoke without having a run. Will be interesting to see at TITC with the large number of entries what happens. Hope they have plenty of spare ESC's

I missed a leg of our regional series because of this. I guess I'll send it in to see how good their customer service is.

Try NOT reversing the throttle channel. That is what I had to do on my MX3FG.

Try setting it up again w/out reversing your throttle channel.

Ok, I know from experience this esc will not work with LRP motors.

Wish I would have known before you put your's in Steve and I would have told you.

We have gotten them to work with Duo 1's and 2's as well as Orion's, Novak's, but only if they have the USVTA sticker on the box.

Please clarify: Our SS Pro and Ballistic 25.5s for USVTA are built the same as our other wind motors.
