The inner CV joint is interesting, however it doesn't look like a cars typical CV joint as the balls seem to sit statically in the end of the shaft, instead of shifting horizontally with the suspension movements. So a bit more friction really...

My armchair engineers thoughts:blush:

I would think one would want the cv joints reversed anyway; the new design on the outside joint, since that has the majority of movement.
