Default 2 Speed Tranny

Does anyone have any pics of the 2 speed..pinion and spur part? I am gonna make one for a slotcar and need to figure it out some. How do these things work? Does anybody have enough time to sorta rough sketch how it shifts into 2nd gear without the 1st gear pinion or spur still turning thanks in advance

On my Pro 2 2-speed, the pinions are hooked together, the spurs have one-way bearings in the centers. High gear freewheels until the shift point is reached, when a little shoe kicks out and locks high gear. At that point, the low gear freewheels.

The total tooth count has to add up the same for both sets...for example, 75+25=100 and 80+20=100 could be used.
